Tomato Salad

This tomato salad is the perfect side to a heavy pasta dish because it is easy and light. And better tomatoes = better tomato salad. The ones I used are German Ox heart tomatoes.


  • 2 medium tomatoes
  • 1/2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • salt and pepper to taste


Slice the tomatoes into wedges and pour the dressing over.
