Persian meatballs

I made this recipe up today because Tengelmann (a German grocery store) wanted an arm and leg and my first born child for a half pound of stew meat, and I just wasn’t gonna do it! I was planning on making Ghormeh Sabzi (a persian green stew), but I bought some minced meat instead so persian meatballs it is!

Ingredients

  • 500 grams mined meat (a pound)
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley (about 25 grams)
  • 1/2 lime
  • 1 tbsp dehydrated
  • 1 tsp tumeric
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

Mush up all ingredients with hands and roll into 16 balls. Cook in a nonstick sautee pan, but be careful! These babies are delicate.
