Low Calorie Coleslaw

Slaw is one of those magical dishes that can be made at the end of the week when your fridge is starting to look like the zombie apocalypse has struck. Cabbage, onion, and mayo is all that it consists of in a classic version, but my low calorie version tastes just as good at half the calories. Plus if you are watching your weight, you probably already have plain yogurt on hand! Right? RIGHT?!


  • Half a head of cabbage (400 grams)
  • 1 small onion (50 grams)
  • a few spoons of yogurt (60 grams)
  • one spoon of Mayonaise (10ml)
  • a splash of lemon juice
  • salt and pepper to taste


Chop cabbage and onion very fine, then mix everything up and enjoy. Best served with something fried. 😉
